Calling the Weekly Standard a right-winged newspaper seems a bit of an understatement,
but I guess it's huge subscriber base just isn't enough for people to stop bitching
about a left-biased media. I went down to the supermarket to count as many obviously
left-biased magazines as I could, and I found a whopping two Rolling Stone and
Spin. Right-winged magazines abounded, though. Guns and Ammo was merely the centerpiece
for the magazine's rack's largest section: that which provides centerfolds for
people who like to jerk off while looking at pictures of guns. The American Standard
was there. So were a bunch of magazines that had the audacity to debate the need
for gay marriages. On this matter, there is no debate. You are either a
retard, or you are not.
If you're the kind of total fuckwit who thinks that gay people should be shot
and the homeless should be walled up, then I suppose that to you the media does
seem to have quite the leftward slant. Otherwise, I cannot see how a rational
person would conclude that the American magazine industry, which is almost completely
controlled by four or five media giants, would ever side with the left over
the corporate-friendly right.
